The standard
Christina wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or high-contrast settings. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What the site does
- Text meets the WCAG AA contrast ratio against its background.
- Every form field has a visible label, and forms can be completed with a keyboard.
- Photos of homes carry text descriptions, and digitally altered photos say so in the description.
- Pages reflow on phones and stay usable at 200 percent zoom.
- Animation stops when your device is set to reduce motion, and the home page slideshow has a pause button.
- Pages are checked with automated testing (axe-core) and by hand. The last full check was on October 29, 2026.
Known limits
- Some older photo descriptions are short. If a photo matters to you, ask and Christina will describe it.
- The home search opens Zillow, a separate site with its own accessibility practices.
- Some page elements come from the Squarespace platform, which we do not fully control.
